Stadium Arcadium: The Chili Peppers' best cd?

Welcome the new Chili Peppers.

They have come a long way from the drugged up songs of their groundbreaking cd Blood Sugar Sex Magik.

Twenty-three years later they are now more sober, drug free, and are better educated.

Stadium Ardcadium is a funk-driven, hard-rockin', soul-dancing work of art from these accomplished men.

Anthony Keidis's voice on this record is rather impressive, but we can't forget John Frusciante's amazing guitarwork and soothing voice. And how could I forget the best rythym section in funk's history: Chad Smith and Flea.

Chad Smith has some crazy drum parts to bob your head to and Flea's slap bass will blow you away.

Their famous producer Rick Rubin has done an excellent job on this record and deserves alot of credit.

The album features two discs, humorusly named "Jupiter" and "Mars" and have a total of 28 tracks.

Jupiter is the pop-rock side of the album featuring the anthem "Dani California" and the slow, mellow "Snow (hey oh)."

Mars starts off very funky with their second single "Tell me baby" and continues to follow along the funk path with some amazing performances on "Readymade", "So much I", and "Storm in a teacup." How could I forget the wierdest, most psychedelic "Animal Bar."

If I were to summarize this cd in three words it would have to be "GO BUY NOW" because it quite simply is their best cd ever (next to Blood Sugar Sex Magik) and shows they have really matured. Its one thing to be around for 23 years and make music, but to be around for 23 years and make AMAZING music, that takes skill. These guys have skill.

Microsoft releases new competition against Apple:
Microsoft's new mp3 player, the "Zune" is alot like Apple's Ipod...
It has 30 gigabytes of space (equal to about 7500 songs) and is capable of storing music or photos
The catch is that you can connect wirelessly to someone else's Zune and transfer music right on the spot.
The only downside to that is shared songs are deleted after 3 days of listening.
Another downside is that the Zune is not capable of storing or watching videos.
"This is a design mistake" says Rob Enderle (analyst for the Enderle group)
This week, Apple executive director Steve Jobs revealed the new and improved ipods to hold off microsoft from being to proactive about it.
The next step is creating mp3 players that connect directly to the internet and tv.
